What kind of rock does Columbia Quarry Co. provide?
Columbia Quarry Co. produces all four grades of rock (A, B, C, and D) using state-of-the-art crushing equipment. Not all rock products are available at every location, so we always recommend calling ahead to confirm inventory.
Where does Granite City Slag get its slag, and how is it used?
Our slag is primarily sourced from Granite City and processed as air-cooled blast furnace slag. It’s commonly used in chip-and-seal, microsurfacing, and de-icing applications.
Can I get dirt at every Columbia Quarry Co. location?
Fill dirt is available at select quarries. It can be picked up or delivered when dry. We do not load dirt when it’s wet or raining, and inventory varies, so we strongly encourage calling ahead to check current stock.
